When I came to Agilent Technologies as CLO, I immediately saw the possibility to bring Trimergence in to bring the Self-Insight Program to the team. Luckily by that time Ward, as the founder, had found amazing talent to join him at Trimergence, so he could scale with a multi-national public company like Agilent. Eventually we had all of our global executives, which was over 100 people, and many of their direct reports and emerging leaders participate in the Self-Insight Program.
The Trimergence tools are simple and easy to understand, they help you focus on grounding yourself first. The tools help you focus on the need to understand your own challenges, your own strength and your own state of being. Once you are grounded it is easier to navigate whatever the conditions , political challenges and leadership issues might be.
As a firm, we work with multiple personalities and cultures and Trimergence offered the skills we needed to develop. Trimergence’ claim to be trainers of Olympic athlete level executives also made sense to me. Trimergence does not work at the basic skill level of development, Trimergence works to polish and help leaders be more sophisticated and broad reaching in their overall influence.
Working with Trimergence has been fundamental in my development as an executive. I learned things about how the business is run, how to manage stakeholders, and how to really show up every day as an authentic leader and executive. I would not have been able to do this without my work with Trimergence and it sent me on a trajectory that has personally been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. I know for a fact there is no way I could have done that without the work with Trimergence.
The Trimergence work has been transformational in my professional life, but also in my personal life. All the work with Trimergence has helped me be a better leader, a more evolved human, and a better sister, aunt, spouse, friend, and human in my community. I’m just a better person as a result of the work we did.
As the CEO I did a lot of work with the Trimergence team myself. I found it really useful to understand myself and my patterns, and then I could model this for the rest of the organization.
The most compelling thing about the work I’ve done with Trimergence has been the precise learning of how the way that I interact with others impacts how they interact with me. It is a powerful thing to understand how people are perceiving me and interacting with me in a way that helps me be far more productive.
The work I have personally done with Trimergence and the work Trimergence has done in our organization has been some of the most meaningful work I have done in my entire career. It has substantially helped me to understand my own patterns of behavior and helped me be a much better leader of people.
